TTouch For Cats - Many people believe that it is impossible for humans to affect the behaviour of cats and certainly once the cat has reached maturity. Many TTouch Practitioners and cat owners' world-wide who have used this unique approach with cats in their care will know that this is simply not true. TTouch has helped shy, reactive and anxious cats totally alter their responses to human contact after experiencing TTouch and many veterinary nurses and shelter helpers have used TTouch to help cats that are worried by the presence of humans and/or other animals or reluctant to eat in the shelter due to stress.

Domestic cats, by their nature, are more solitary than dogs although many do live successfully in a mixed social group that includes humans, dogs and other animals. A surprisingly high number of domestic cats are fearful of human contact and TTouch is a fantastic way of helping cats to overcome their concerns. It can also be used to reduce the effects of injury and to aid recovery from disease alongside appropriate veterinary care.

TTouch is also a wonderful tool for teaching children how to handle their pet cat and cat owners can attend a one-day workshop or enlist the help of their local Practitioner to find out how TTouch can enhance the lives of their feline companions.
